Conratulations, we are the 2008 WBF 18/U Champions. It was a great game and the squad showed no fear. The Florida Legends are a great ball club and we had to be right on target. I am exceptionally proud of the hard work put forth by all.

Devon Travis was on fire, Jake Meiers was tough as nails on the mound. Both Matt Solomon and Josh Scott worked well to close. Derek Niesman and Ryan Roberson went yard to put the game away.
We definatly made a statement and set the bar high for us to continue on.

WElLINGTON TRAVEL BASEBALL ---The younger "boys" needs your HELP !! Congratulations to your team, but if this organization is dismantled by the Village Council on Tuesday, July 8th these younger boys will not have the same opportunities you did to succeed. The younger boys have rooted you through out this year by attending your high school game. Now its your time to show your support and voice out your opinion to the VILLAGE COUNCIL on Tuesday and let them know WHAT THIS PROGRAM HAS MEANT TO YOU IN THE PAST 8 YEARS. Chad, please urge your players and parents to attend this important meeting on Tuesday, July 8th at the Community Center. Please contact the Wellington Travel Board for more information....

Unfortunatly we will be in Georgia at the Wood Bat Nationals. We do support the efforts of WTB 100%.
Our success has been aided by the organization. many of our players have cut their teeth and learned the game of baseball in this group.
We urge the council to continue to support the organization sice it is a self supporting group.
Allow the kids to live their dreams.
w cannot forsake youth for anything
